I'm not saying that wasn't embarrassing for Roman but you responded to a post that asked why Roman + Kendall lost their leverage with Mencken. The answer is that there was no leverage after they crowned him President. That's why Kendall said Roman f***ed up and proposed that they fight Shiv together instead since they can't get to Mencken anymore

I thought that was pretty obvious, that’s why they showed Karl and them laughing at the recording of him crying. Roman lost a lot of respect and public favor from everyone after breaking down like that, he showed his weakness.
You can make the easy “Mencken is a politician” argument so that’s why they shouldn’t trust him, but it’s pretty clear in this universe that Mencken actually had a liking & respect for Roman and completely lost all of that after the funeral, that’s why Kendall told him he f***ed up

I say they lose the company. Tom or someone non-Roy is CEO. The show ends with them getting Pierce as originally planned. Brings the season full circle and gives closure on the overarching plot
