Goddamit im seeing articles about this and it all makes sense. The thing is tom hasnt been on the spotlight this season which makes it weird.

It’s not gonna happen but it would be cool if they established the new CEO in like the first 15 minutes and the rest of the episode was about something we didn’t see coming at all

I’ve mentioned before that one of the things I love about this show is the structure of seasons with respect to plot progression and how what we assume will be the climactic events don’t end up being the biggest plot points each season. Like how the bear hug was resolved midway through Season 3 and how Logan’s death happened so early this season

I feel like Tom isn’t taking it all because he kind of had his big moment last season finale

I could definitely see it happening

Maybe not a surprise twist but giving us a little bit of time to sit in the aftermath

I would love a surprise twist and maybe even a cliffhanger if it didn’t involve who ultimately becomes CEO

There will always be twists and bullshit going on in their world that cause them to revert to old behaviors and we don’t need to see more seasons because we already know from the previous seasons how it would play out

I don’t know if anyone here ever watched the show Tyrant on FX but it did not resolve its conflicts/plot at all yet had a pretty good final episode (despite being cancelled) in that it kind of told us what would happen going forward even though we wouldn’t be able to see or know what would happen

I’m imagining something like that for tomorrow’s episode

Show's so good, I got them into it and they binged it. And it's kinda cool, you know almost 30 you don't watch things with your folks anymore. We've all got our own lives.

Cool that this show brought it back together, think the last time I watched a show with both of my folks was TWD season premier where Glenn died
