So did Hugo, Gerri, Carl etc all keep their jobs?
probs not, yes and Tom was talking about how he wanted Karl and Frank gone.
Also, how was the BFI screening?
twitter screenwriters
Lmao that would have been such a s***ty cheap ending. Glad some of these people aren’t writers 😂
I was dead at how disappointed Shiv and Roman were that Kendall didn’t actually catch a body
That was the final straw

Ah yeh I need to watch it again tbh I was tired as hell lol!
It was really good, Jesse and all the writers are real cool and they held a little panel, there was cheers when some characters came on screen and there was a good 1-2 min ovation at the end.
Need a reunion special in the future that’s shot in a documentary style with interviews from the characters documenting the fall of Waystar

Don't go down on Peter's cheeese!
I have a British stepfather named Gary. this s*** was all too real for me
There's a shot of Kendall like that on the bench at the end. That doesn't mean much.
It'd slightly off-centre and doesn't resolve in the way that the usual Logan angle does, Mylod's a man who knows what he's doing, I think that was a genuine choice to show that he doesn't fit in the role he's spent his whole life trying to achieve

"zod's snapped neck" levels of corn
I forget the exact line but it was funny when shiv said “Roman’s getting pity spanked in some basement somewhere” Lmao
This show man…we’ll never see anything like it again. The finales have all been so beautifully tragic
They’ve earned the Shakespearean comparisons

they NEVER MISSED when it came to finales
last night was no different
Curious — do y’all think Shiv would have still voted yes in either/both of these scenarios:
1) no one goes after her, they just wait for her to return with a decision
2) Kendall doesn’t lie about killing the guy, owns up to it, and comes off less desperate sounding in general
I was dead at how disappointed Shiv and Roman were that Kendall didn’t actually catch a body
That was the final straw
I mean I think it was more shock that their brother would stoop so low to make up that story just in order to get his siblings on his side for his shot at the throne
The crazy thing is that shiv and Roman still loved him until Kendall tried to act like it was a play. There was a way for Kendall to get out of it but he wanted to win so badly that he fumbled both the position and his siblings in the same moment
yup. they didn't care what kendall did. shiv just brought it up to help her argument at the moment and roman only got upset cause he saw the kendall was flip flopping trying to dodge it

nobody was changing Shiv's mind because she didn't want Kendall to win. while Kendall's reaction gave her validation, there was no way she was gonna vote for him even if the spirit of Logan himself came shining down on her and told her to vote Ken

I feel like either way she had made up her mind tbh
"You don't have to route for anyone"
You guys treated this like Game of Thrones and are telling the guy who didn't the title of the show isn't the point of it
I mean you don't to route for them like they're real people. It's just a TV show.

I think they were more disappointed at that bonding moment they had potentially just being a move by Kendall to get them to unite against their father
I mean I think it was more shock that their brother would stoop so low to make up that story just in order to get his siblings on his side for his shot at the throne
Lol I get it I was being facetious
I'm trying to understand why Shiv changed her mind in the first place. I think both Roman and Shive he didn't want Ken to be in the seat because it would make them look weak. The difference is Roman doesn't really have much confidence in himself so he could stomach seeking Kendall in the seat while Shiv overrates herself and her ego couldn't take Kendall being the boss .
