I had a 6 hour drive and thought about this ending for a major chunk of it. I still don’t know whether Shiv did the right thing or not. I honestly can’t tell whether she just hated Kendall or really was trying to save him from turning into their dad. I also feel like because the series ends painting a specific picture it makes it seem like her decision was best for her kid/family, but we know in reality it wouldn’t take long for things to fall apart in some capacity if it were to continue. Still so conflicted

Only listened to like 15 mins of the official succession podcast early this season and was put off by the host lmao was not feeling it. Going to listen to the final one just cause and cause it's Strong and Skarsgard.

I remember watching this video after that immense season 3 finale, definitely the best interview I've seen done with the show's creators. Really hope they get Jesse and do another one for the season 4 finale.

Imo The ending was an indictment of the actions taken by the characters throughout the series. those that strove for it were hollowed out by the quest for power. Noone won, and the empty, bitter feeling the finale imparts on its audience seems to be the point. To win in the context of waystar royco is to lose everything else.
