started a re-watch. I'm into season 2 and this show definitely is top tier. meaning when i was watching live i was thinking this show is great but it's not sopranos/wire/mad men level. now that i'm soaking it in on my first re-watch I think it's tier 1, up with those shows. we were really blessed (but i need to finish my re-watch before i can finalize my ranking).

I still need to do my first rewatch I will be looking forward to it
Best show of all time imo.
Rewatched it, I really feel comfortable believing that now.
After the first 3 episodes it’s basically flawless
i watched this breakdown video. it's not new nor it is different than probably a ton of other breakdown videos. but i enjoyed it. the ending was super good, which is what i felt at the time it aired and still holds up now a month or two later. a master class in story telling.

The episode where Logan has a UTI during the shareholder vote is one of the funniest episodes of television period in the last 10 years. So good

One thing I find fascinating about this show, which doesn't get talked about enough, is that Connor Roy was interested in politics at a very young age.
in the universe of the show he was the only realistic choice among the siblings as rome didnt want it and shiv had no experience, the reality of which both of them agreed upon! thats why they finally conceded and agreed to vote for him! their aspirations were always a joke! kendall was the prodigal son, the troubled hero, the chosen heir. they could've written a classic story here but instead they subverted it because they are modern "british" writers with no humility and think their own personal "unique spin" and "subversion" of millenia old story archetypes constitues "novel" and "good" writing! but this dogshit hollywood fast food here today gone tomrrow piece of s*** story will leave NO impact and be forgotten by next quarter! KLR ON MY FOREHEAD
crine i forgot about this. so real
