    Yeah I'd say so, still has sombre moments but quite different from C&L. Prefer this personally.

    damn C&L a top 10 album oat for me personally so i don't even expect that level of greatness
    nontheless if this is on par with age of adz i will be more than satisfied

    I do like C&L but honestly it kinda drags, also feel like I need be in a certain mood for it.

    Can't say if this is better than Age of Adz, probably need to give that another listen but this is pretty damn good. It's weird because not many songs actually stuck out on first listen but it's still really cohesive. Need to sit with it for a while.

    yea you def need to be in a certain mood for it, i don't listen to it all the time, mostly at night or special occasions its that kind of album for me.

    Yeah precisely, it's not really a bad trait with the album but I just don't return to it much outside a few songs.

    this album feeling like it definitely is more warm and embracing.

    although along the point you said, i think i've conditioned my brain to think hearing sufjan's voice = you're sad
    like his voice just makes me introspective and makes life slow down and makes me think deeply about s***.

    Will say this would’ve benefited from being a bit shorter, few songs don’t have enough substance to them imo but they aren’t bad.

    yea thats one of my favorite aspects of his music for sure
    gets you in a meditative state of mind.
