Feeding a kid honey is not recommended, however it is not seen as down right abuse that will get a parent in trouble. So it is legitimately incorrect to say she is abusing her kid or has a track record of abuse simply off that.
Just as spanking your kid or feeding them McDonalds five times a week is strongly not recommended, however not illegal, and nobody has a right to claim a parent is committing “abuse” if they take partake in that.

not for a newborn. baby was born late March I think.

pretty sure newborns can only drink breastmilk or formula until
about 6 months.

People are arguing that honey is unsafe for babies, not hemp milk. The hemp milk replacing actual milk is the issue everyone had with it.
