I doubt the movie will suck. A Mario movie that sucked is the reason Nintendo shied away from the film industry in the first place.

too much star power . Wish they invested that amount in writing instead and just got random voice actors

We don’t know anything about the writing so idk where you’re going with that.

The start power is whatever to me, since I’ve enjoyed most of the cast in different movies so it’s not like I think they won’t pull it together cause they all have their perks but I guess the most worrying thing is just how well they do it.

I don’t doubt that they gave it their best effort though simply because it’s Nintendo and they don’t play about their IP’s. They cancelled a whole Netflix Zelda show because an employee leaked that it was in the works if anything they gonna make sure s*** goes right

Oh I am just saying most of the time when they invest that much in star power they use it to get those stars to say corny punchlines and jokes to market rather than a meaningful emotional story. Which is possible even with a kids movie. However in this case Nintendo just needs a win. With Ubisoft, Nintendo and Sony all trying to get into movies and tv it makes sense.

I mean at this point I’m kinda expecting some corn, it’s a kids movie after all but as long as it’s to the minimum and hopefully nothing too in your face as far as product placements or whatever I’d be fine with it.
