StardustIm surprised some people were geniunely expecting some grade A cinema out of this. I'll watch it cause i love Mario and from the trailers its looking to have lots of references and very good animation, thats all i needed
A grade A fun Mario adventure isn’t a crazy expectation. Their are ton of top tier animated films

Was popular with the fans but I personally didn’t like or care for either film that much but glad so many sonic fans were able to find it good for them

A grade A fun Mario adventure isn’t a crazy expectation. Their are ton of top tier animated films
But it seems it'll be fun. From what ive seen the criticisms are mainly about the plot and screnwriting. If It'll be anything, it'll be entertaining. Like a sonic the hedgehog situation. And if they wanted to make a classic movie spiderverse level they wouldve chosen a better studio. Just saying, to me this was a predictable outcome. Fun film for everyone except people who arent into Mario

Well i dont trust Nintendo with Zelda at this point though. They'll choose either illumination again or another generic 3d cgi animation studio because most demographics like that. It may work with mario as that style suits his character and the games got no story at all, but Zelda needs more quality control

Sonic was fun to watch, and im not even a sonic fan like that. Good entertainment, i feel the same will happen with Mario, although i'll probably enjoy it a bit more since im a Mario stan and at least the attention to detail this movie has will be Nintendo games quality
