Mario has so much lore and popularity that they don't even need to put any effort into making a quality movie, unfortunately.

this is much more a kids movie than spiderverse though like this truly something to throw on for kids

the crazy part is when this dropped people were like "what do you expect story wise Mario has no story"

when in the past 20 years there is so much they could have pulled from so many games to show a cool story

Finally saw this while on a flight a few days ago. To say this was aggressively mid in every department aside from the technical aspect of it would be an understatement

but my list of things where reviewers or consumers hyped them up and it was mid is coming. Just know TV I was tempted to say the Last of Us but I am not trying to start a war.
