If you guys weren't aware a PC port of Super Mario 64 popped up randomly on the internet a few months ago. A team called Retro 96 made models for it that are basically in the same style as the ones you would see on box art/Nintendo magazines and I think it's really cool because I always loved that art style for Mario characters and other video games as well
One thing I read about recently was that some dude back in the LATE 90s found a way to emulate, nearly flawlessly, and even with less visual glitches than modern day emulators, the N64 on like a Pentium 3 or whatever the latest hardware at the time was.
S*** was so groundbreaking and he got so scared of legal action, he pretty much immediately took it down after a day or two and pretty much went MIA.
That is an INSANE feat. That would be the equivalent of someone coming out with a Xbox One X emulator for the PC right now with almost no bugs (Something that is considered to be impossible).
But man, that water level music INSTANTLY takes me back to watching the old MTV and playing Mario Golf
When is 64 coming to switch?
I thought they already ported it?
I know they got the DS version

Nah not yet they announced it in like April but nothing since then
I love the charm of the OG so much . A lot of heart and soul was put into the aesthetic
One of the games of the era that just doesn’t need a remaster
Cool idea Nonetheless !
When is 64 coming to switch?
Are they going to do it like the snes or release a couple of remasters?

They’re doing remasters of 64, galaxy and paper Mario

That’s really a bummer
Not full remakes just upping the graphics
Ye but the pricing for these remakes (Crash, Tony Hawk etc) is just ridiculous to me

No doubt, I don’t mind paying for 64 tho game is timeless

Probably gonna buy it as well but it feels like ripoff thinking about what they’re charging

This wasn't announced by Nintendo btw, it was announced by a gaming news site but there isn't 100% confirmation on it. I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet
