This person has zero writing credits. I'm genuinely curious how they landed such a huge gig.

She’s credited for one short but apparently she’s also a playwright

"The project is actually a redo for Nogueira. The writer was quietly hired to pen a Supergirl movie in 2022 when Warner Bros. was developing the project as a spinoff of The Flash, then in post-production. Flash featured Sasha Calle as the heroine and the hope was to launch another DC film franchise."

Gunn and Safran must think her previous draft was good enough to give her a new opportunity

Bringing in new talent is usually a good idea. Let's see what she cooks up.

She's probably done a lot of "rewrites" and "polish" jobs which go uncredited. People call it being a "script doctor".

Securing a protagonist role as an unknown without a test screening is crazy
