Warner Brothers saying to Rocksteady making a Superman game and then greenlighting yet AGAIN ANOTHER Arkham game is a slap in the face in the highest order.

I had an idea for a Superman game but it'd be like a little free game on steam with no real story. The idea is you have to escape Superman. Like a survival. You pick a character and get out of a zone as fast as you can or survive a certain amount of time before Superman kills you. You'd be able to use anything in whatever environment it may be.

So if you play as Batman in some sewers you'd have to get to some endpoint but Superman would eventually show up. You can use the utility belt to slow him down but it wouldn't be a long term thing. And depending on difficulty he wouldn't just stand there to be hit.

Lol the idea was inspired by fighting Sephiroth in KH as well as that creepy clone in Metroid Fusion

You know, I make a lot of complaints that DC only knows how to tell 3 superman stories: origin, death, evil superman. (4. Getting his ass beat by batman) BUT I been hitting some gems about the core of Superman in The Animated series. Need to give it a full rewatch

Damn this looks good and not a batman in sight. DC might have one

BURBANK, CA (June 25, 2020) – Daily Planet intern Clark Kent takes learning-on-the-job to new extremes when Lobo and Parasite set their sights on Metropolis in Superman: Man of Tomorrow, the next entry in the popular series of DC Universe Movies. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting August 23, 2020, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack on September 8, 2020.
Superman: Man of Tomorrow will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (USA $39.99 SRP; Canada $44.98 SRP) and Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $24.98 SRP; Canada $29.98 SRP) as well as on Digital. The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc featuring the film in hi-definition, and a digital version of the movie. The Blu-ray Combo Pack features a Blu-ray disc with the film in hi-definition, a DVD with the film in standard definition, and a digital version of the movie.

It’s the dawn of a new age of heroes, and Metropolis has just met its first. But as Daily Planet intern Clark Kent – working alongside reporter Lois Lane – secretly wields his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good, there's even greater trouble on the horizon. Follow the budding hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and fights for his life to halt the attack of power-hungry alien Parasite. The world will learn about Superman … but first, Superman must save the world!

Superman: Man of Tomorrow introduces a new producing vision to the DC Universe Movies series, which now numbers 41 films over its 13 years of existence. Supervising Producer Butch Lukic has a rich pedigree in DC animated productions, serving as producer on Constantine: City of Demons, Justice League Action and the Batman Unlimited franchise, as well as directing episodes of Justice League, Batman Beyond and Beware the Batman. Lukic brings a new visual aesthetic to Superman: Man of Tomorrow that departs from the animation styles – of previous producers Bruce Timm (23 films) and James Tucker (17 films) – thus far represented in the DC Universe Movies.

“Superman: Man of Tomorrow is an inspiring retelling of the DC Universe Movies’ backstory for The Man of Steel, taking the audience to his early days as an intern at the Daily Planet – and his beginnings as a learning-on-the-job DC Super Hero,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Senior Vice President, Originals, Animation and Family Marketing. “Darren Criss and Zachary Quinto have wholeheartedly embraced their roles as Superman and Lex Luthor for this film, and the end result is a special addition to canon of films that every Superman fan will want to add to their collection.”

  • Aug 21, 2020

If they can pull this off and capture certain elements from the comic, i doubt it a bit but this could be the first good DC animated joint in years

Don't know how I feel about an animated universe

    iCarly Japan

I f***ing hate that everything is part of a universe now. One of the reasons why Batman Mask Of The Phantasm is so f***ing good, is that its just a batman story. Complete focus. Ugh

same with return of the joker. yeah they exist in the same worlds as the show.. but they’re not hinging off being connected. i didn’t even know the last “universe” was a universe bruh.

dark knight returns, red hood, year one.

Yoo supermans parents in the hologram look real knikkerish. I dig it. Like they have lips and s***

  • Jan 3, 2021

I walked into this with low expectations but I actually enjoyed this despite it being another origin flick. Crazy how everyone had personality.

The art style was refreshing from that blocky stiff new 52 stuff they did

Aye they arrested Lex the second s*** went sideways. Like a rapper getting arrested after his performance
