so you're prepared to go to war? honest
i think none of us knows what a revolution in america would look like. actual war in the streets against the U.S. military? doubtful. castro had how many fighters?
a revolution is fought on more than just a battlefield ofc.
What should I put if I don't believe in the last question
added a none of the above option
Kinda surprised how unpopular anarchism is on ktt
most ppl cant even define it

this country was founded on revolution, and we even went to war against eachother over ideas 160 years ago
if it would ever come to war it would be loyalists vs separatists, thats how it usually goes down. the likelihood of people that have been at eachother's throats for years coming together to revolt seems unlikely. we cant even have a proper civil discussion in this country right now, theirs no way i can be convinced all of a sudden people on opposite sides will take up arms together
its more likely a radical segment of people try to start some s*** and then they get shutdown once it escalates past a point

you should research actual socialist revolutions.
All these social dems
you should research actual socialist revolutions.
and why exactly would that work in the united states, not the same climate at all. go down the street and throw out the word revolution to people and see what they say
majority of people want stability and dont want to rock the boat. thats why we've been stuck with Ds and Rs forever now. the working class is divided as hell right now

thats why education is important.
thats why education is important.
education on what? you cant just educate and preach your side, you have to lay all the viewpoints and opinions on the table and let people decide for themselves
there are people really struggling right now. we have a ton of homeless people, people barely putting food on the table. there is a def a segment of the population that is real deal desperate.
but the majority, which includes probably most of us on here, have phones that cost hundreds of dollars, computers, gaming systems, nice shoes, nice clothes etc. among other luxuries.
thats not a base or foundation to lead a revolution to change society lol. and after that, if you did try to force that, it would lead to some sort of insurrection.
mfers want stability and dont want their business disturbed. and i think if we did a national poll, the majority doesnt think our system needs to be torn down or vastly changed - people support the ideals and philosophy of how our government is supposed to run. its just being run into the ground by the wrong people.
who knows, i think in 50 years a real deal insurrection or uprising of some sort can go down if we stay on the same path. i dont think it would be a socialist revolution tho.

this post is just extremely dumb on all parts. like no, people don't need to be educated on "all viewpoints" lmao. what they need is class consciousness, to be made aware of the contradictions of capitalism and how they are exploited, and then made aware of what the alternative is (socialism)
and ok? you can be struggling and still have all those things, ridiculous point.
you can say what this person wants or what the people writ large want. but go around and talk to working class/poor people. they are largely aware that in some way, they are being f***ed over and the system does not work for them. the issue is america has the strongest propaganda machine ever.
imagine fred hampton was alive today and you out here telling this man he gotta let people know about the conservatives and what they think and make sure that the people have considered the liberal point of view and the nationalist point of view or if castro had been telling his people the views of the batista regime and asking if they had considered it
the absolute f***ing gall of someone to say "you have to teach them all sides" while the US out here running mass propaganda machines and murdering any domestic leftist with a following while destabilizing and attempting to overthrow any socialist government it can lmao.

You do realize your opinions are not facts?
it is not an opinion that the people are exploited, it is not an opinion that capitalism is the source of this exploitation.
