I voted Trump in 2016, and I felt vindicated after he had a presidency that was pretty standard as far as presidencies go (besides covid) after people said bullshit like he will bring back slavery, he will start WW3 etc.

Not caring about an evil that is far from home is uncomfortably normal and common, but to WANT evil on your homeland is something different, and Trump’s proposing a whole lot of evil on the homeland which is never a great thing for any country and often ends one way, as a country, America was incredibly close to that conclusion on multiple occasions and will likely get there sooner than you think with Trump in charge.
