    Yep. In general, the first generation of anything like these are hardly as optimized and functional as they should be. I don’t see myself ever lining up for one voluntarily, but I especially won’t for the first one.

    They are NFC chips. It's the tech your phone uses for wireless pay. You already have a phone you carry with you at all times that has a camera, microphone, and geolocation on it as well as an NFC chip.

    Also, I would love to see the source for those numbers. Sounds bogus to me
