It took 3 years for CTRL to go double plat. I wouldn't be surprised if over it goes double plat next year which would be the 3rd year mark.

ctrl is a generation defining piece. i think even if her next album is just good to great she’ll be okay

can’t imagine the expectations she has on herself. i hope we don’t get a lauryn situation, but her insecurities have a chance at getting the best of her.

i think she’ll pull thru. there’s a lot more room to f*** up, when album cycles are so quick these days. i’m content with her next record being just okay, if we can hear more sza tbh. she has a distinct style that i think will ALWAYS speak to her core audience

F*** IT I’M SAYING IT

CTRL is more impactful than blond. as much as i love this record, i feel like ctrl does so much for the genre. they both have similar themes, but sza speaks to these themes in a way that i don’t think frank is interested in doing.

his ambiguity is apart of the allure, but ctrl just hits me harder emotionally. i feel like the story telling on ctrl is so raw and makes me reminisce the storytelling frank had in CO. ambiguous back then too, but the lyrics kept me much more engaged.

blond is great music period, but i think ctrl is the DEFINITIVE r&b record last decade.

i’ll be so happy if it’s this year but i’m content with waiting just because there’s not one solo song of hers that i can say i don’t like. they all grab my attention and not many singers these days do that

she gets a lot of s*** for her vocals which i understand bc a lot of it comes from wanting her to not hurt herself. but there’s something so unique about her delivery that will always keep me listening. i hope a good vocal coach is on her team that allows for her to keep the style of her voice, while giving it more power

True I understand waiting for it because it will be well worth it and it only helps her perfecting the album but I miss her music so much. I’m glad she’s at least started the process of giving us songs and features. SZA’s pen game along with her great ear for beats and how she delivery on top of it is unmatched

Lil Nas X is bigger than BOTH SZA and Summer.. with only 1 EP out and scattered singles. Better numbers, bigger engagement Globally, stats are bigger and more acclaim.

He has a bigger claim to the ‘superstar’ status as it stands.. his reach is bigger and his grip on his demo has a tighter strongholD that’s reflected. He has generation Z on lock. Lil Nas X has massive global hits.. Countries where he stays perched on the top of the charts. Sza and Summer haven’t seen his heights and your acedotal experiences concerning your circle or ppl u kno that listen to Sza/summer from top to bottom ain’t enough
