Yes. What's the strategy there? Does it change that much to have more tracks? If I want to hear SOS I'll listen to SOS separately.

she’s 2/2 with songs with “baby” in the title

it counts towards SOS’ sales I’m pretty sure, so it kind of inflates her numbers a bit…? maybe?

I feel like a big reason is she thinks SOS is her peak and quintessential moment as an artist, so she’s sort of afraid to move forward and into a completely new era.

Like just tacking new music on to it still keeps the era going and if the music flops/disappoints it’s not seen as its own new project.

Even before SOS dropped she took so long to follow up CTRL mainly because she clearly thought that was her “unmatchable peak” then. So she clearly kinda has that fear of failing personality when it comes to her career

This release is weird as f*** and confusing. Why not just release Lana as it's own album?
So basically she released 15 new songs and tagged on her last album?
is there any changes to the mixing or anything to SOS? I don't get it. I don't like it, Now I have to create a playlist on tidal and separate the tracks

like 5 or 6 artists have done this in the past year or so, it’s very common. Kali Uchis and Megan thee stallion just did it. Tyler did this too but it was like 8 new tracks.

    Wym?

I'm not gonna listen to disco revivalism like Dua Lipa over the classics

I'm not gonna listen to Griselda over 90s rappers

I'm not gonna listen to some 70s rock pastiche like Greta Van Fleet over Led Zeppelin

and so on and so forth

it’s just a way to package songs that were unused from SOS sessions, even artists like Radiohead did this but just didn’t call it deluxe, just optically different but the essence is the same

It definitely should’ve been it’s own album

What does the cover have in relation to this first even?
