Her cadence has changed tremendously, and I get certain people may prefer it to the current inflection, but still, I find it odd.
Especially since her penmanship has improved substantially.
Also, I think the production choice on "SOS" may have been a factor too (incorporation of folksy sounds and/or trap)? I'm merely speculating, though.
