Please don’t say that, Wasteland was one of the most underwhelming albums of the year

Those skits were absolute dogshit but the album had a few bops

Am I the only one who feels this is lazy and shows a lack of confidence in her own ideas? I get that artists use the same sample all the time. But everyone listens to Drake and she uses the same sample he used on his intro for her intro it's like she was counting on people to be like

huh? we don't know when that beat was made or when sza recorded her song.

also do you know how many songs we wouldn't have if niggas tried not to reuse samples other artists used?

It's not about who did it first, it's about who did it right

I feel like there’s a Drake bar for literally everything

Didn't say I liked F2F, I used the because I was surprised by it

    I don't dislike it though

I dunno I just don't feel like Phoebe Bridgers fits on that record

I hate F2F. One of the first songs I'd cut. John Tucker Must Die ass song

you don’t like any songs from it?

The Drake and Tyler songs ended up being the best

Listening to Ghost in the Machine again as we speak

Her feature just brings the song down so much. It was literally perfect without her, her verse is super unnecessary

Both, but I would say for a rapper. You have to know how to spit that classic s*** and know how to appeal the new audiences as well.

Because I feel like a lot of rappers be having such fire beats, but they don't even fit on it themselves imo nowadays.

link me 2 a beat that isn’t inspired by neptunes real quick, jus a snippet i’m tryna see sum

I haven’t had the desire to revisit that album since the month it came out.

That nigga had the nerve to put two-year-old singles on the album PLUS three skits PLUS a one minute interlude PLUS an intro that isn’t even a song

So a 19 song album really became 10 new songs, and most of those 10 new songs were very average and very forgettable

Here's a beat I made a year ago. This beat was supposed to be my manifestation song of a celebrity crush, but I know that happen anytime soon, so it's whatever lol.

I lost the original files on my old MacBook, but luckily I had this

It's not just about reusing samples, it's a sample that Drake brought attention to. It's not like the Free Spirit sample, we all knew Sade before he sampled it. CLB was massive, especially Champagne Poetry because that s*** was on everyone's IG story. As an artist, that would make me refrain from dropping it because I know the comparisons would be inevitable. People will immediately associate my song with Drake's, because that's their source when they first heard it

Wasteland is NOT one of the most disappointing albums of the year

That would imply thinking he was capable of dropping a top album of the year in the first place.
