Cast: Taika Waititi, Scarlett Johansson, Roman Griffin Davis, Thomasin McKenzie, Sam Rockwell
Writer director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

i liked it, not as much as i was expecting but it was a fun watch, a bit on the nose at times and a bit too sentimental
I liked it a lot, never saw the second trailer so was pleasantly surprised by the plot and enjoyed the characters
Saw this tonight, really enjoyed it. Taika, Rebel Wilson, and Jojo's friend were hysterical to me. I actually thought Scarlett Johansson was pretty good in this too. I thought this was great and also perfectly paced, had me laughing a lot.

I know it’s cool to hate on ScarJo nowadays but she was the heart & soul of this movie

That scene where she pretended to be Jojo's father was great to be honest, I ain't afraid to show her props on that.
Definitely wished that we would've gotten more of Sam Rockwell though, he's so damn underrated that it bothers me.
Not really my type of humor and it took a while for the plot to get going but the ending was so incredibly satisfying to me and I just left the theater so hyped
I don't really care for this guy's comedy at all and a lot of it i felt was useless esp at the top half of the film
but by the time the story actually set in and finally had stakes i was fully in and overall really really enjoyed the story
What are ya'll weirdo's talking about.
I am 20 minutes in and this is funnier than a majority of comedies in the last couple years.
wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but very sweet and charming, the kid and the girl killed it
