This s*** was always lame. Nigga wrote on like 1/4 or 1/5 of the album but to this day people act like he wrote the whole thing.
Still my favorite Drake album. This came out the fall of my sophomore year in college and I kid you not, Iāve never seen an album impact that many kids in my life. We couldnāt go to a party without hearing The Motto, Make Me Proud, Take Care, Headlines. We were just walking around campus quoting lyrics like it was just a part of our normal conversation. My roommate loved the Kevin Hart line on OMDB we kept replaying it the night it leaked lol. Real ones remember the skip in that song lol.
That era itself was incredible. The anticipation of what it would sound like after hearing Free Spirit, Club Paradise and Dreams Money Can Buy. Such an impactful piece of time and music to reflect on. Really the album Drake became the Drake we know now. So many classic songs on one project. I can remember that time like yesterday. Cheers to 10 years

Funny that narrative became widespread in 2017 when they had rumours of beef / Abelās commercial success

You really had to be there fr
You donāt see Ye posting about The Blueprintās 20th Anniversary and nobody bats an eye. Itās like social media affirmation is life or death to some people lmao
Like breh I donāt even post happy birthday to anyone on social media but I damn sure tell them myself lmao

Kanye never hides from showing Jay love or downplaying his role in his career. Literally just did an interview talking about Blueprint
Not necessarily about the anniversary only. Weeknd just seems like he has made a personal rule to NEVER show Drake , Oliver etc love in public. Been that way since 2013

2017
I remember listening to the album like 6 months after it came out
Everyone said it was good but I didnāt know how good it was until I heard it
Definitely one of Drake best albums
