This whole music era was great.
We were just coming off Watch The Throne, and Thursday.
Then when this dropped it was the icing on the cake.
Such a moody, tangible time in my life.
Good times.

One of them eras where I wish I could relive again for the first time
Certified Marty!!! Nothing but the truth
Man, I remember the night it leaked. Mom b****ing at me to get out of the computer room and go to bed. No āThe Rideā on the leak. That f***ing skip on OMDB that I probably heard 70 times in the 2 weeks before it officially released lol.
After hearing OMDB nothing was making me go to bed that night. Something about the feeling of the album that was being given off. No song has ever hit me harder that Look What Youāve Done. That was the first of many memories with this album.
So many life moments and memories thereafter.
Classic.
Take Care was the only album I played when I was in Australia in 2011. Wayne still played a couple shows in Melbourne and Sydney as a support for Eminem and I bought that ass quality YMCMB hoodie online that time
Undeniable classic.
Older brother is a big drake fan and played it around me all the time when it was out, and I always love the singles but I when I heard the whole thing for myself
Take care is definitely the quintessential drake album
Everything about this era was just perfect. Doesnāt even feel like itās been 10 years
I remember back before the album dropped I was a Drake fan but I distinctly remember when Dreams Money Can Buy dropped I told myself āthis nigga is the greatest doing it right nowā and little did I know that moment would kick off an era that would have a huge influence on me as a young adult that just graduated high school and was trying to figure this life s*** out.
I remember when Marvinās Room came out as the single my high school sweetheart had broke up with me the day before my birthday and I was devastated. My parents went out of town for about two weeks and I ended up throwing parties every night and would have girls pull up and the third verse of that song became my f***ing life.
I remember everyone I know, like literally everyone had this album. I had friends that donāt even like rap buying this album and playing it. S*** was really like a takeover man. The level of takeover it had not only on my life but on everyone around me just was uncanny.
I love this album forreal. Drake couldāve never dropped another piece of music and I wouldāve considered him my favorite artist ever off the strength of Take Care alone. An iconic, genre and generation defining classic. An album that I canāt wait to play for my kids one day.
Ten years itās been a hell of a ride. Iām no longer the young guy trying to figure out as I got my life in order and pretty successful by my measurement but this album is a time machine for me to always take me back to a time where I was trying to get to where Iām at now
take me back man
I copped that vinyl with the quickness. One of the best / most impactful albums of all time
I remember the first time I heard doing it wrong after reading the article saying heās never played a song for someone and theyāve cried because it really hit home š„ŗ
And for any idiot Abel fans who will wanna talk s*** on Monday, remember that if Drake takes off the 4 tracks Abel contributed to and replaces them with Dreams Money Can Buy, Trust Issues, Club Paradise and Free Spirit, Take Care becomes an even stronger album:
1. Over My Dead Body
2. Headlines
3. Take Care
4. Marvins Room
5. Buried Alive Interlude
6. Under Ground Kings
7. We'll Be Fine
8. Make Me Proud
9. Lord Knows
10. Cameras/Good Ones Go Interlude
11. Doing It Wrong
12. The Real Her
13. Look What You've Done
14. HYFR
15. Dreams Money Can Buy
16. Trust Issues
17. Club Paradise
18. Free Spirit
19. The Motto
20. Hate Sleeping Alone
just enjoy the 10 years it would've been a classic either way
