talib a true legend
Lol..it's unbelievable how these old MCs keep riding Kendrick's d***.
It is what it is, especially since Kendrick has surpassed him
TPAB def is one of the best albums ever despite being the most overrated rap album on the internet since Madvillainy.
It isn’t a top 10 album oat by any means but I can’t really say there are any true serious flaws about the album.
I would put it in my top 30 rap albums of all-time if I made a list

no rapper of his stature and popularity has ever went so hard left thematically, sonically, and politically so early in their career, the peak of their popularity basically. After gkmc, not a single person on this planet was expecting that s***. bro said, oh I gotta follow up my debut album that’s widely considered an instant classic? f*** yall expectations, Im about to take this s*** to whole other areas
tpab is the type of album u would expect from somebody 15 years into their career, not 4 years after getting popular. thats what makes it so mesmerizing to me. he really sat there and focused on trying to make one of the best hiphop albums ever and he pulled thru with flying colors. immaculate s***
as opposed to what cantknnock is saying, it is undeniably a top 10 album (at the very least)
like the legandary Herbie Hancock said, you can even argue it's the greatest album in music history, all genres. Like he said, its probably the best musically composed album we've ever heard. And like Martin Connor said in his 360 p. a***ysis, u can argue its the best rap album ever from an objective standpoint.
and like Kamasi washington said, if u can't see why this iis one of the best albums ever made, in any musical genre, then u're simply lacking musical knowledge
^ his opinion is valid when he just says what everybody else already knows.
At this point every great artist would admit tpab is like top 5 all time, regardless of the genre, because it is.
