End Of Summer grows on you so much, man. Every single has been good, very hype for this album

The Slow Rush is an amazing album btw. Maybe one day it will get the love it deserves.

Not finished with album yet, but it’s absolutely heavily inspired by house and rave music . But there’s also some reggaeton drum patterns on this as well.
And definitely pop influence of course .
But the album is groovy and smooth af

It’ll for sure be divisive among Tame Impala fans who mainly like his psych rock music.

I’m definitely going to run it back when it’s done before I give more thoughts

Ethereal Connection

The run from Ethereal Connection to End of Summer is ELITE

I just listened to his whole discography front to back two weeks ago. This house style he’s doing is the most logical next set for him I feel. From his early stuff and the B-sides/remix eps he’s been doing this style for a while. This feels like his past work just a little more fleshed out. Which is obvious when you’re making an original song compared to a remix. I enjoyed this album.

The Tame Impala subreddit is losing their minds right now and it seems like a lot of fans are about to turn on Kevin, but yea I'm really liking the album as well

appreciate him going in a different direction but this album is not for me. even the songs I like on here are just okay, the house production sounds very empty and meandering
