I could see why one would prefer that classic Kevin sound comapred to this new house sound

It's not easy for some digest, at least yet.

All of his albums have themes and this is just one of a diffrent tone like Slow Rush was and how people reacted to that at first.

Would have been interesting if he had used the drummer in him to evolve house drumming

In my mind he is a drummer first and foremost

Eeeh i do think the drum programming is really good on there but i agree im missing his usual drums here they couldve worked alongside the electronic beats pretty well too

I was really surprised how boring I felt the instrumental sounded, and that the song was really carried by its production on the record.
The Kevin’s voice came in and the his melodies on it is just gorgeous

Finally gave it a listen and.......might be his worst Only songs i enjoyed were

A lot of it sounds like baby's first go at edm/electronic music. Which is crazy considering he's not new to this and had more interesting stuff goin on when he worked with Dua for example So many of the production sounded so bland/basic

I can understand the hate but I enjoyed the vibes. I think it’s alll about the situation you listen in. This was perfect for traveling but just sitting there listening would probably be boring ngl

There's something about the way the bass lines mesh with his voice. They work together like glue. Especially on Dracula. Who's mixing his s***?

He's so f***ing good at drums. Pretty much every song I posted above has amazing drums
