theDonandOnlySure. i'm not denying that and maybe we'd have to go back further for a better example. Whether you like Drake or not tho, a lot of people will just see him as black given the way he works. He's often having moments with black artists on a global level. That is pretty new for an artist as mainstream as him. The guy's put out singles with everyone from Headie One to Wizkid to Blocboy JB.
You could argue it's just cos he's had the opportunity to do that cos of streaming, but it will probably be one of the things he's remembered for.

There's producers like 40 and Murda. But in terms of featured artists, out of all his singles I can really only think of Hold On We're Going Home.
it's also how global the collaborations are, that's really one of the things he'll most be remembered for imo. Anyone i can think of who did that before was not a proper superstar like he is. It's crazy to me that One Dance, which at the time was probably his biggest hit is a classic UK Funky sample and a Wizkid feature. Most of his fans probably don't even know what UK Funky is.
