but folklore is not boring
tbh it is taylor voice isn’t something that got a lot of personality in it so hearing her on those really slow instrumentals bores me to death. also her songwriting not that compelling to me at least she bringing that sound into the mainstream tho

that’s my problem with it. it’s like my first indie folk album i mean i appreciate she went and made music that’s not typical of what she makes but there’s a billion niggas making better folk. when sufjan stevens exists there no need for a taylor folk album

A lot of them do have an introspective view on it, especially when talking about loss. But regardless or not it being considered party music doesn't change the fact that if you live that life, that's all you know, they're going to talk about it. It's not gladiatorial music for whites.
