Taylor Swift doesn’t have any heart or brains. She’s a shiny, plastic person. And this album is pure torture.

As instrumentals, it would fit in with any Sleep playlist on Spotify. Just add some cicadas or a little forest ambience and you’re golden.

As songs, it’s what I imagine I’d hear if I picked out one of those random CDs next to the register at Starbucks.

Buying a dress from Anthropologie and shooting B&Ws in a open field doesn’t make you rootsy. It makes you old. It makes people think you smell like frankincense.

If this is how she decides to spend her 30s; baking loaves and pasting sea shells onto antique boxes; that would be the logical conclusion to her vapid existence.

But no one is this normal.

Deep down, I believe there is an ugly soul in Ms. Swift, whose expression would warrant the most extreme black metal production.

One only wishes Scooter Braun would twist the knife far enough we could hear it.

TLDR Taylor Swift sucks. Go check out Penelope Scott’s Public Void.
