I listened to Snow on the Beach, I liked it a lot but the opinions over there seem to range between meh and just outright not liking it because Lana essentially has only backing vocals. I think they’re overreacting but it is a bit disappointing that the aesthetic and visuals of the album don’t seem like they’re gonna match the music.

They’re mostly in shambles over the leaked lyrics, which don’t have any musical context behind them so I don’t think it’s fair to judge them as terrible, or in any way. They also don’t like the description that it sounds like a companion to Lover. I been going there for news since Taylor announced this album and one thing I’ve noticed is they HATE Lover. Also saying f*** Jack Antonoff.

I don’t know the source but I’m pretty certain they aren’t talking about the billboards cuz I’ve seen a few people question the legitimacy of the lyrics.

That's not to say that they're fake, even though I don't know the source I think those few people are in denial, 95% of the sub is saying they're legit and they got some real detectives over there. I just think it's a bit silly to judge lyrics without any musical context behind it. Taylor has a lot of lyrics on some of her most celebrated albums that read absolutely terribly on their own, but in the song sound fine.
