Lmfao Lana shouldn’t even have a feature credit. That’s some pull out the liner notes and in the small print “additional vocals: Lana Del Rey”. But Lana’s got an elite discography so if it gets her more spins who cares
I can’t picture myself listening to this while drinking a pumpkin spice latte.
Streets is done
Maybe because I’ve heard this girls music since Teardrops on my guitar but it’s so weird to hear her swear
Ayo skreeets saying KARMA SONG OF THE DECADE?
YO MANDEMS IS THIS TRUE??????!
I WILL NOT REPEAT MOI SELF
Reactions not great but I remain optimistic
I’ll keep it simple bb if you a lover/1989 fan dis the album for you except with a darker tone
it’s cool. antanoff def needs to get his hands off all these female pop stars though. i personally think while not identical, a lot of these albums he has a hand in have a similar vibe to them.
i also wish the “terrors” she dealt with in the writing sessions for these as described came through in some more somber tunes.
Finished my first listen and…nah man. The only song I even fw somewhat is Maroon, and I like the beat of Karma. I appreciate the cohesion, production and imagery tho. Musically it’s just not doing it for me, and that’s kinda the main draw for her besides relatability…but even then this is music not making friends lol
Maybe I’ll feel different on a future listen
You expected deep soul touching music from a white woman that pretends to be single?
