She absolutely is allowed to be upset over that - but yeah, she could have addressed it to the public in a different way and been direct with not liking the change that he made in the end.
Also, once again, her reframing of the semantics of “bitch” only became a big deal after the fact - yet those defending her will latch onto this sentiment only when there’s so many factors at play being disregarded.
This is ultimately the clashing of egos of two people who acted wrongly (Kanye with his change and Taylor with her response) - but only one of these two people got “snaked” badly

That’s not what the deal was to begin with, it was initially that a phone call never took place and he never asked her about the lyrics, period. She saw the opportunity to get back at him for embarrassing her in 2009 and took it and it backfired. It is what it is.
