I went to a listening party for the album so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Put me on the team of "I don't see what's SO bad about this." It's not the most interesting record, pretty much Midnights but more depressing and caustic. But it's not bad. I thought the Flo track was good, So Long London had some crushing lyrics, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart has powerful Supercut energy, etc. Clara Bow pulls the album in an interesting direction at the end.

Main problem, as always, is that it's too long and I got exhausted by the end. It kind of belabors its points by the halfway mark. And of course there's already a deluxe! F*** me. Some real s*** lyrics too, very toxic and lazy in spots.

I loved that Matt Healy sent her Downtown Lights, all but confirming that he stole that s*** to make Love It If We Made It. I knew it bruh
