it's actually "embarrassing" to think the max for female artists is "only" 62k even till this day...thats why taylor casually beat it with her first night in a "mid sized" football stadium i guess. will be interesting to see if she could do 90K or 100K when she gets to NY or LA.

ed sheeran afaik does local arenas at a cheap price to draw as many people in possible so he could do like 250+ shows to set the box score record. so yea he probably didnt get a bigger crowd but im sure many artists have.

yeah I'm really surprised beyonce/adele haven't hit those type of numbers yet.

i had to fix my post, apparently its for the US only. adele's record is set in London's wembley which holds 90k people as youve said, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of numbers taylor can do when her tour comes to a stadium of that size, so far her first few weeks will be in AZ and NV which only have stadiums that holds 65k.

the amazing thing is, apparently the overall record is set during a country music "super-concert" at 105k people in a single night. the stadium has 80k seats so they mustve packed a f***ton more seats on the floor. will be interesting to see if she could touch that record.
