It's a little refreshing if I'm being honest, she's trying to create an identity for the brand (a rarity in s***ty startups nowadays). But it also bores me at the same time because there's nothing new going on...
stinks of upper-middle class snobbery
plus the anti-vax s***
You have to alienate some groups to zero-in on your most attractive prospects
It's quite literally exactly what she talked about there being too much of in fashion. More plain graphics on solid color garments being marketed as "minimalism", trying to capitalize on mid 90's nostalgia with a princess diana mood board.
Also I noticed that the crewnecks are being labeled as unisex while the item description says the sizing is based on mens sizing. So they aren't unisex, they're just mens clothes she's calling unisex.
I know it doesn't matter and anyone can wear a crewneck regardless of it's in mens or womens sizing, but it's odd to market something as unisex when there's been no attempt to construct the garment in a way so that it fits men and women similarly and instead just say it's unisex because it's made to fit men but a woman could also wear it.
Crewnecks look better oversized anyway

So youre stating that this is a brand for anti-vaxxers
Say what you want about the clothes - they’re selling
She’s got a crystal clear persona for her target consumer - educated, cultured, health-conscious millennials
Marketed by herself. Sold exclusively through her website. W
wasn't this the chick that used to interview people at supreme drops? whyd she leave complex?

I’m sorry you’re not sporty and rich enough to understand the vision

I don’t think she found it fulfilling - standing in the cold, interviewing a bunch of unemployed losers who resell clothes for a living
