Not for female artists, it isn't. Women always get judged harshly. Even people like Logic and Tory Lanez got their own fair share of criticisms for sounding like other popular artists despite them putting their own twist on it. If she drops sounding like active female musicians, she'll never hear the end of it. She also won't truly break out in the mainstream without her own distinct sound/style. Every female artist who has broken out in the last 5 years has that.

May 5, 2021Her being influenced by some of her favs doesn't take anything away from her lol, she has a great voice and she can rap and sing and make good music, and she can also be introspective with her lyrics so it will be easy for her to connect with people
I believe TDE will help her develop her own sound, this girl can easily become a star in my opinion
