Could be useful in alerting people about creeps and rapists but some false info could get spread as well.

the app itself has a good moral compass of the creator making it bc his mom was talking to criminals and he wants it to be useful for avoiding rapists, std’s, etc so conceptually this is really dope

unfortunately the core audience for it as of now is majority very gossipy and creepy on another end of the stick

I'm all for keeping women safe and I think that is what is ultimately driving this apps growth but once you get past that initial stage I think there are a lot of privacy and data collection concerns that are largely being ignored.

I'm not sure how exactly you're supposed to run a background or criminal check on someone without social or license number or an identifier like that. Furthermore based off the website it seems like it's using the equivalent of AI tools to seek out a lot of this information

Overall I feel like a net negative on society disguised as wanting to keep women safe.
