nah don't let that dissuade you. living in another country is gonna require some work and patience, no matter where. and teaching English in Europe is extremely competitive. you'll be applying to jobs with people who have years in the field and relevant degrees and teaching licenses
I have a friend who moved to Japan not knowing any Japanese. he spent 2 years teaching at an eikawa, and then got his Japanese to a respectable level and got hired at a private school. from there he kept studying and got hired at a multinational corporation in Tokyo
when I say serious study I mean around 2 hours a week and challenging yourself to go out and not speak in English. it's doable and would be very rewarding
