    I’m not opposed to teaching the bible (or any religion’s foundational text, for that matter) in schools as long as you allow the students to come to their own conclusions about them

    As a student of literature I would have liked a little bit of biblical studies in high school. It would have helped me a lot since so many books draw from it.
