He’s incredibly talented and basically came up around the same time as Alex g but I feel like his endless need to beef with everyone has burned a lot of bridges for him and turned away fans
He’s made a lot of great projects under various names that I recommend looking into especially in the early days of teen suicide but he’s so insufferable it’s hard to credit him even though he was doing great s*** For his lame

If he made better decisions I think he would’ve been up there with CSH and Alex g as the niche internet indie legends

I think its kinda the conversation about separating the art from the artist that comes up for problematic / abusive rappers but on a smaller scale, since he hasn't committed many crimes that I know of other than being an edgy 30 year old
its just to me as someone who is a fan of teen suicide (not a listener of his other projects other than some songs I've heard by him as Ricky Eat Acid) would Sam even be the person capable of writing albums like waste yrself without being a bit of an a******?

I think since his consumer base is heavily reliant on his online presence I think it actually matters to a degree because the people who listen to the indie s*** like this pay attention to the artist beyond the artistry
Prime example of this is what happened to mom jeans and summer salt after those allegations
