Doesn't the Tag tournament series always sell worst than the main games though? For example, Tekken 3 sold 8 million to Tekken Tag 1 sales of 2 Million.

Tekken 7 the most successful Tekken game since Tekken 3 tbh. I don't think sales really would stop them from making a tag tournament 3.

I could see them doing a Tekken 8 and then TT3 as Tekken 7 never got a side companion game like the other Tekken games before it.

Smh we gotta wait... Until the TGA's 2022 at least to get something more than a 5 seconds teaser.
