ASAKIIt's kinda crazy lol folks have some strange vendetta against Kanye
When Hov was on that streak of bad albums, no one was calling for his retirement or saying that his legacy was ruined. Wayne is one of the more inconsistent hip-hop legends and no one bats an eye if he drops a terrible song or album
Steven Victor randomly throws in a mumble Kanye demo on a track and now he's done forever. The man's made two mediocre albums over a music career spanning almost two decades
it’s become a lot easier to slander kanye cos of the s*** outside his music too so people don’t care for his older s*** but still the fact people be lying at this point bout his music so egregious when other rappers didn’t get this kinda s*** for so little

Maybe he only gets disrespected more because he releases new music more frequently than the others giving people more material to hate on. He releases what he feels. If HOV or Nas were to drop they would care about what they put out more
he’s the only person outside eminem for legends who drop regularly also kanye is still a major celebrity so everything is still in the media regarding him but idk niggas need to give him a break

Rebirth was kinda a special case because Wayne went a completely different direction after No Ceilings, which was a great rap mixtape.
If it was a bad straight hip-hop mixtape, no one would've cared as much.
The criticism went beyond Rebirth being a bad album, people were going super hard criticising his rapping ability and specifically what words he was rhyming the n word with
Perhaps not just because of Rebirth but also the fact his detractors felt it was open season to go in on himKanye hasn't had it that bad at all, even with him not being as much of a people pleaser as Jay or Wayne, and on many occasions attempting to ruin his legacy with awful political statements

Kanye pointed out in interviews in 2018 that he was disappointed ye and specifically All Mine weren't getting much radio play and he still said f*** it and made a Christian album out of his passion for music

I agree with you, but I'm saying it was mostly because Rebirth went a completely different direction from Wayne's usual stuff. Ye faced this with 808's and JIK as well, regardless of the quality of the project.
But yeah, you're right on that second point. Folks will still be in the LP10 release thread no matter how much they s*** on the dude regardless

If album would've come out last year within like 8 months after JIK like it was supposed to it wouldn't have been as good as it now will be. So I think quality will be better unless he suddenly has a change in his vision and changes directions like Yandhi -> JIK.
And about quantity, he still releases pretty frequently(more than many other rappers like Kendrick, JAY-Z,etc) and I think he will release this year too along with GAP.
I do feel some of your comments are valid and even Ye knows it and is planning a true comeback to form. So let's wait, best s*** will be on the album
