Played this s*** since like 1.2 way back in 2013, and it's only gotten better and better ever since then. Few weeks ago they just dropped one of the best updates in the game's history ever imo, and I've been addicted beating the game on Expert Mode again and now working on Master Mode back-to-back

Yeah one of the drawbacks with how much s*** is in the game is how much you need to rely on the wiki for certain stuff

And if the last time you played was 1.2, they added so much s*** since then it's not even funny. I'd def recommend coming back

Started a Master Mode world up with my friend earlier this week and it's been really nice to play again. Think the last time I actually played was like 3-4 years ago with the Calamity mod.

It's honestly very hard to describe. I'd say that the best way to describe it is a 2D Sandbox Adventure Metroidvania. Shares similarities to Minecraft but it's much more grounded in progression and action/combat rather than creativity.

See above. It's a game where you can do a lot in terms of creativity i.e. Minecraft (but not as much since the 2D element limits it), but also a big part of the game is progressing like an RPG and the combat, which is similar to something like Castlevania.

How do y’all make it fun? At the most I played probably 20 hrs in total. I’ve fight the eye ball and the centipede and the skull and get to volcano and then I stop. Never got back into it compared to other survival stuff at the time like Minecraft
