    i think being unwilling to apply any nuance thinking to a situation and only believe its black or white is a teenagers understanding of the world

    an adult is able to view the grey area in between and say "okay I understand where its coming from, but maybe its also not the values i want to stand for, and there should be more intent with how people go about it"
