This is something i was vibe coding for a few days. Yes it ai vibe coded sorry if you dont like it but nothing else existed like this and I dont know how to code Welcome to 2026

Anyways I did some googling couldnt find anything that scratches this particular itch. I got the idea from this game called Cine2nerdle which is pretty much the same thing but about movies. theres no sports one though. NBA is my favorite sport so I made it for NBA.

Basic game flow for head to head mode (all settings can be changed for practice mode)

1) Random team seed is picked

2) User 1 names a player from that team - that player (if correct) becomes the new seed

3) User 2 has to name a player who was teammates with the first seed player - that player is the new seed player. Previous guesses cant be picked again.

Once a player is played they cant be used again for any other team or any other year so you have to be wise with how you choose who to pick. Do you go for the bench player on a bad team that nobody knows? Well if you do before the big stars on that team were picked then youre wasting a pick. After 15 rounds the teams names disappear and true ball knowledge reigns supreme you have to know the player.

There are a few lifelines and stuff just click around read the rules and how to play and you should figure it out theres buttons for everything.

There is also a survival mode that hosts up to 8 players at once it is much more fast paced with up to 8 different players being eliminated from the pool at once and random weighted choice of the next player to be chosen so the one guy who knows who Cat Barber is could come up with a big win if they wait to play them til the teams get turned off in round 15.
Theres also a timed daily challenge mode try that too and get on the leaderboard - i may not update this every day for the time being but theres one for today and tomorrow loaded in

I am on totally free plans for all the hosting so I just need some people who wanna play a few games in their spare time have some fun. I cant guarantee how long the free tiers will hold up but I do plan on upgrading at some point in the future when more stuff is fleshed out. Its very much in beta right now.

You can sign up to save your progress and view your profile stats. For now there is no email confirmation required you can just put a fake email I dont mind.
