houston is bigger and has better food.

as far as nightlife Austin is probably the best. Houston isn't bad but it just sucks that you have to drive everywhere bc its so big/spread out

the night life in dallas is straight. there's deep ellum (20 somethings) uptown etc. if its closer to your family id say go with dallas, there's alot to do and it's a good city in it's own right. houston is way bigger tho

Probably still cheap compared to even s*** holes in Cali. That and Cali people are used to big cities I would imagine.

Yea, it’s cheaper still, I just don’t get the “I’m moving here to save money” but still choosing the most expensive area to live.

  • Jul 14, 2020

I’m in East Texas and it’s stupid cheap, I got a nice job though for where I am though.

I lived there for University and it’s definitely the worst major city. I currently live in Dallas, but Austin is the best city

What’s the demographics like in Austin ? I’m interested in a city that has all types of races

I’m very interested in moving to Texas. But I don’t know anything about it. I’m interested in a city with modern look, like new looking buildings etc. Places with a lot of shopping

It doesn’t have to be exactly in the heart of the action so I wouldn’t mind being a 20-30 minute drive away from the area but somewhere with commerce with a mix of quiet if it makes sense

It doesn’t have to be an affordable area, I’m just looking for a nice area

Houston is the most diverse. Austin is still pretty diverse but I still feel like its skews more white than Houston, Dallas is probably the least diverse out of the three but id have to check.

As far as modern looking Austin probably has the edge. I'd actually rank Houston shopping ahead of Austin tho probably

Houston has a lot of great stuff and nice areas but its pretty spread out, so a lot of driving.

Facts, Dallas is definitely the least interesting of the 3.
Fort Worth area probably has the best museums in Texas tho. Modern art museum in Fort Worth and Kimball art museum in Fort Worth are goat
