That's exactly my point. She's established and famous but her music doesn't sell like theirs. Which means it's just not as good or as remarkable
Let's take Da Baby and Lil Baby out of it because they are male trap rappers who appeal to men in a way that women never will
Meg makes strip club/ahhhh 😜 trick on me nigga music
explain to me how bc that gets streamed more, often simply bc that's what girls turn up to, get dressed and make IG snaps to, get in the vibe to go out with, or its more tik tok friendly it's better or more remarkable music?
that's like saying dababy makes better music than freddie gibbs or anderson paak because he sells more lol
I feel like she’s already big, and a household name. I guess she wants to be talked about with the likes of Summer Walker, SZA, Snoh, HER, and Jhene.
She don’t make music on their level though. Her last album she got too caught up in the 90s nostalgia s***. Out of 21-22 tracks, I kept 6-7. She probably a top 3 RnB talent, but her actual work is middle of the pack.
So now the Ye stans saying it’s okay to get violated by your label if you don’t personally like their music
mental gymnastics going olympic level itt
Jhene's album Chilombo had half the promotion that Teyana's last album got and yet it's one of the highest selling RnB albums of the year. This has nothing to do with "rap sells more than RnB so that's why Teyana hasn't been as successful"
Now I will say that this is one of her problems, but at the same time that has nothing to do with them not pushing her, if her in all her "lack of an identity"-ness is still enough for you to not want to drop her and keep giving her release dates

Not saying it's better, it just appeals to that niche. If I wanna listen to Teyana's niche, which is female RnB, Imma listen to Jhene and SZA and HER and Snoh before I listen to Teyana
y'all gotta stop making this a gender thing, or a Kanye thing, or even a label thing. it simply comes down to an artist who's art isn't hitting the people
Thread was going good until I saw “belittle a woman”

Her race, gender, etc. likely has nothing to do with her label troubles
but it's definitely a factor in all these weird "dumb b****, lucky she's sexy" comments ITT
and I'm usually against people pulling that card
weird combo of always reducing women to s***no matter what is being discussed, ye stans feeling like anyone should be grateful to breathe his air and black women aren't allowed to be angry and loud
She got the Wale mentality. Focuses on the negativity even though in her case, I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone straight up hating on her outside of KTT
What does your opinion of her music have to do with whether or not her label is f***ing her lol
She Flopping and ain’t blowing up while having Kanye name attached to her work and while having a huge following. It’s not only his opinion

i mean if you don't get promoted then unless you have god tier level music then it's kind of hard to not "flop" unless you get lucky. desiigner was hyped as f*** and then he was just left to rot in the street for 4 years.

How has she not been promoted though? Her last album which was 23 tracks got a s*** ton of promo and features. Lauryn Hill was on it! And she's never on anything! Plus the 2018 album was literally marketed as "Kanye's return to RnB production"

Lmao it’s hilarious how ignorant y’all are to how the industry works

Sorry for not being as enlightened as you fam
lmao she kept saying she didnt Ye and when she gets her wish, its the s***tiest music shes ever put out that it causes her to retire
now shes just crying once again
attention w****s never cease to amaze

I agree 1000% but in my honest opinion I don’t think we can pull bege gender card because similar s*** happened to desiigner.
Is GOOD a good label? Hell no but look at Big Sean. He goes out of his way and does his thing wether is features etc.

how is promote me or drop me "attention w**** crying" and not an actual ultimatum/request that she's likely tried to handle dozens of times in a manner that wasn't this

Facts. Nobody here is saying that GOOD Music is a good label, it's established that they suck. But, the label isn't the reason Teyana's stuff is flopping, especially when other artists like Sean and Pusha are still thriving. That's all I'm saying.
