Wayne's technical performance is better on C2 but his charisma on C3 is unmatched.

No he would’ve have Fam. Tha Carter III took him to another level commercially. But if he died after C2, he could have still been seen as a legend off his body of work. C2 would have been seen as an even more classic project had he passed after it came out.

His more recent projects and features are messing up his body of work though. It’s hit or miss. Carter IV was when I realized things weren’t going to be the same. I used to stan Wayne.

I was just listening to You Ain't Got Nothin, and wow. A decade later I'm still blown away and drawn in like no other rapper can have me feeling. So effortless.
