Classic album. Used to spend a lot of great afternoons sitting on my parents porch in the summer drinking beers, smoking black and milds to this before they got home

yeah but there's external factors that C3 has that his other albums do not removed from just quality lol

Rapping on there is among the greatest performances I’ve ever heard on a mainstream rap release

This before he went bar for bar with the punchlines and he was more focused on slick clever wordplay, and being inventive with his flows, cadences, rhyme schemes etc

Imo tho it might not be as great in other areas the rapping on C2 is up there with Bigs rapping on LAD, Hovs rapping on the blueprint, Eminem’s rapping on MMLP etc

Raps are great on C1 and C3 as well but C2 Wayne one of the nicest niggas I ever heard on wax
