With Lemon Pepper Freestyle landing at #3 this week, Rick Ross has earned his first top 5 record. His previous peak was Money in the Grave (#7). This is his 3rd top 10 record, all 3 with Drake.
Lil Baby has earned his second top 5 hit, besting his previous peak from Drip Too Hard (#4). This is his 4th top 10 record, second with Drake.
True, all I’m doing saying that this is not all that impressive for Drake. He’s already won everything when it comes to numbers so this is just another stat to point out. I guess myself personally I don’t care where he charts tbh, just give me CLB.
That’s fair and you’re entitled to that, but why are you in a chart thread then if you don’t care?
Drake just posts once when he drops. No pushing and thirsting the s***. No bundles
too busy crafting the next pack of hits
f***

Can ask the same for you, there is already a thread for this topic but yet here you are.
We all know Drake is gonna go #1 first week, for Drake this isn’t all that impressive for him . When he dropped an album (forgot with one, maybe More Life) that 7/10 songs in the top 10 were his songs. It’s a given he will debut at the top, the real question is which will have staying power.
This isn't just another #1, this is 1 2 and 3 (no artist has debuted all 3 at once). You don't have to down play this incredible achievement for hip-hop and you come off as moving the goal ppst with the "stay power" remark. LNCL was in the top 10 for 20 weeks? People expect Drake to stay #1 but if he did they'd say he's ball hogging the chart like in 2018.
All that matters is we're getting classics that also chart
Bruno be saving careers huh

There isn’t a thread for this in music sxn that’s why I’m here
Obviously very impressive, but don't y'all think that it's more about the timing rather than the songs?
With so little artist dropping, the people are starving.
it's over

I am holding the standard to Drake and only himself. No artist has ever done this because no one has ever been in his position. This achievement is for Drake and not hip hop, no one before him or even afterwards probably not gonna do this. Drake is so big at this point he’s above the genre. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were Drake stans that listen to him only when it comes to rap, he’s that big.
I’m not moving goal post because it’s Drake. Whatever he does will debut at the top. His real test is what song will stay at the top. That’s not a knock on Drake, it’s realizing how far ahead he is of everyone else when it comes to numbers.

Huh? Paak been successful lol
